Australian Open 2020

WE ARE HERE AGAIN

Y'all welcome to the first grand slam of the year, the AO 2020. From the high temperature, the air, to the aftermath of the wild fire, definitely the AO 2020 might not be as vibrant as it was last year, is a good thing the ITF and other tennis bodies has done a good job by putting the health of the players in utmost consideration.

Gears switching

Is the first grand slam of the decade.
The two reigning champions will be present, though, both in good form. Djokernole and Osaka Naomi, well We have some notable absences the likes of Bianca Andreescu, the 19-year-old Canadian who won the United States Open four months ago and The former No. 1 Andy Murray(my niggi)

Let's look at some facts

Nadal could equal KING Roger record of 20 grand slams

Queen Serena eyes on the for 24th

The NEXTgen are knocking

IT ALL STARTS HERE

Men preview

Issa fast court something and here are my top 5 players for the tournament

No 1.
Djokernole

Bookies fav, my fav, aiming for his 8 here in Melbourne.
The perfect player.
Unbeaten in six matches
I see him cliching the title.

No 2.

King Roger

Who knows the grand slam better, if not the king.
The Slayer of all men, the old wine, the king of slices, the master of control, the best around player ever, yes! King Roger knows is onions and his made for moment like this. And can't wait to see those baseline shot and drop shot. Damn savaging.

No 3

Daniil Medvedev
Yes Daniil, the Russian playes mediocre tennis, but who cares as long as is bringing those points home, almost made an epic comeback from 0-2 in sets against Rafael Nadal in the final of the US OPEN.
The Russian could not get quite over the line but it was a showcase of the great form he displayed all throughout 2019, making a whole host of finals in the second half of the season. He serves bombs and also can grind with the best of them as well showing a fighting spirit like the Russian wolf.

No 4

Alexander Zverev

I love Sasha, but hey this lad fails to Live up to the big moments, so quarter finalist, yes.
Semi finals, nah

No 5.

The greek prince
Stefanos Tsitsipas

to the next level, on his way to making the top 5 in the rankings. The Greek did fade in the second half of the season, losing in the first round of both Wimbledon and US Open but showed he was still a force to be reckoned with by winning the ATP Finals at the end of the season.
He should be confident of at least making the quarter finals.

My Wild card for the title

Tennis bad boy
Nick Kyrgios, yeah call him whatever you like, is my fav player, he got the quality the swag, and less I forget THE WHOLE CROWD

Women preview

Aside Bianca, no notable absentees.

Queen Serena all geared up for the slam, she got the energy, the mental strength and most importantly the winning mindest nurtured with years of experience.

World no 1 Ashleigh Barty the Australian, winning the French open and also cliching the wta finals last year brought the Australian to limelight, and wining her maiden title in her Homeland is a power drive for her to go further here though this type of court don't favour her type of play.
Issa Fast court something.
And we see power players toping the game, the likes of keys Madison, Petra kitova, benic Belinda, sabalenka and halep Simona (clay specialist)
And yeah am forgetting someone, hmmmmmm

Who else if not my babe
The queen of come back
The mental strength princess
The Japan samurai
Osaka Naomi. She got the juice and the sauce, surviving a terrible accident is more than enough reason for her to crown the Thanksgiving with a grand slam.

For the women folks.
All eyes are on queen Serena, but we got power players ever ready for the title.
